What to Expect at Our Recovery Meeting
Our goal is to cultivate a safe and inclusive space for all forms of recovery. This event is not limited to substance abuse recovery; individuals healing from grief, self-harm, or other personal challenges are also welcome. The meeting is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
The structure of the meeting follows a familiar format used in many addiction recovery meetings, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A discussion leader will guide the conversation by introducing a topic relevant to recovery, and attendees will be invited to share thoughts, experiences, or reflections. While sharing is encouraged, no one is required to speak.
Water and coffee will be provided at the recovery meeting. Additionally, a staff member from Empowered Recovery Center will be present if you or someone you know needs additional help, guidance into treatment, or support beyond the group.
