That’s why we’re proud to host monthly Family Empowerment Group events designed to support, educate, and empower families navigating the challenges of substance use and recovery.
This May, we’re inviting family members, friends, and loved ones of individuals struggling with addiction to join us for another powerful session. Our goal is to help families heal together, offering tools, resources, and a supportive space where no one feels alone.
How Does Empowered Recovery Support Families?
At our rehab in Atlanta Georgia, we know that family involvement plays a crucial role in the recovery process. Research shows that people who have the support of their family during treatment often experience more successful, long-lasting outcomes.1 That’s why our programs don’t just focus on the individual—we also help families rebuild trust, improve communication, and strengthen their roles in their loved one’s recovery.
Our monthly Family Empowerment Group is one of the many ways we provide support for families of addicts. These free support groups are open to anyone with a loved one struggling with substance use—whether they’re just beginning treatment, actively engaged in recovery, or facing relapse. Past events have included open discussions, educational presentations, and supportive peer connections. We create a space where participants can ask questions, share experiences, and explore practical strategies for maintaining healthy boundaries and emotional wellness.In addition to these support groups, we also offer family therapy sessions as part of many of our addiction treatment programs. Families participating in therapy learn how to communicate more effectively, resolve conflict, and foster an environment that supports long-term healing for everyone involved.
