Admissions Q+A

Considering your options regarding addiction and mental health treatment is a huge step towards recovery. However, it can also be daunting.

Like many others, you may have a wealth of unanswered questions about our center and the admissions process. Should this resonate with you, we have answered a number of our frequently asked questions here.

If you have any other questions or would like to seek professional guidance, we welcome you to contact one of our compassionate professionals.

Do I Really Need Professional Assistance?

If you abuse substances or find yourself addicted to substances, it’s time to seek professional assistance. Substance abuse disorders are almost impossible to overcome independently. They are also often the result of untreated comorbidities such as depression, anxiety, or unprocessed trauma. Yet, with compassionate, expert-led professional intervention, recovery is possible.

It’s time to seek professional assistance if:

  • You have been struggling with your substance abuse for an extended period
  • Your behavior is negatively impacting your work
  • Your behavior is negatively affecting your loved ones

Call us today to discuss whether Empowered Recovery could be the right place for you.

What Is the Admissions Process Like?

The admissions process begins when you pick up the phone and call us. One of our expert team members will take your call and answer any questions you have. They will also discuss your hopes and fears for the next stages of your journey with you.
During this no-obligation discussion, our team will inform you of the range of treatment options we provide. In doing so, you can make an informed decision about beginning treatment with us.

When you decide to go ahead with treatment, our team will book you in for an in-depth admissions assessment. We know that everyone is unique and has their own history with mental health and substances. That’s why our admissions process begins with this assessment to make sure we understand what you need and tailor your support accordingly.

The results of this assessment inform the third step in the admissions process – designing your individualized treatment plan. Our team of professionals will work with you to curate your treatment schedule, including your range of healing treatments, activities, and level of care.

After this three-step process, you will be ready to enter treatment and unlock the next chapter of your life.

What Conditions Do You Treat?

Here at Empowered Recovery, our mission is to help individuals struggling with addiction and substance abuse disorders heal from the mental health conditions that are preventing them from living their most authentic lives.

Our primary focus is on treating addictions, including:

  • Alcohol addiction – Which is also known as alcoholism.
  • Drug addictions – Including depressants, stimulants, opium-derived drugs, and hallucinogens.
  • Behavior-based addictions – Such as gambling addiction, shopping addiction, and sex addiction.

Because addiction is often a part of a broader mental health battle, we don’t simply treat the addiction itself. We also treat co-occurring mental health problems such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Unresolved trauma
  • Depression

When mental health and addiction treatment are required, our dual diagnosis is a suitable option. This program is expert-led and evidence-based to help you overcome the problems you are facing, whatever they are. If you are struggling, call us today to discuss your treatment options.

Can I Detox With Empowered Recovery?

Yes. To recover from your addiction, you need to stop using the substance you have become addicted to. As your body and brain become dependent on the substance, when you stop consuming it, you will experience a withdrawal.

Withdrawal symptoms depend on:

  • The substance you are reliant on
  • The length of time you have been using substances for
  • The quantities of substances you consume
    Genetic factors

Essentially, detox initiates the recovery process. Here, you stop taking the substance in a deliberate and controlled way.

At Empowered Recovery, we have a compassionate and medically informed detox process led by each individual’s unique strengths and needs. You will never be forced to do anything that you are not ready for, and you will be provided with the tools you need to make the process as safe, comfortable, and empowering as possible.

What Are the Costs of Treatment?

Empowered Recovery does not offer one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter treatments. We believe that the only way to empower people in recovery is to curate personalized treatment programs tailored to each individual’s strengths and needs. Therefore, it is impossible to put a general price on any particular treatment before knowing your unique story.

When you contact our admissions team, they will be able to make an informed estimate of the pricing of your treatment.

It is also helpful to note that our Partial Hospitalization Programming (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) make treatment less expensive than residential rehabilitation without sacrificing effectiveness.

Don’t let financial worries stand in the way of your recovery journey. There are many ways for you to pay for treatment. Our team is highly experienced and will explore each possibility with you to find the approach that works for you.
